Cx-305

The center speaker is the anchor in any home theater setup. Therefore it must be up to the task of matching the performance of the front speakers and must perform this duty faithfully. If it falters in its duty the listening experience will be greatly lessened. Specifically designed to handle this duty, the Cx-305 utilizes dual custom-built 5.25” mid-bass drive units. Each driver utilizes an oversized voice coil and extremely large motor structure, making the Cx-305 capable of conveying the sense of dynamics and authority necessary to match that of the Vi tower loudspeakers without strain or compression. The drive unit’s Fiber-Composite diaphragms have a very low mass yet tremendous rigidity, allowing them to reproduce even the slightest nuance and detail of faithfully and precisely. Housing its advanced drive units the Cx-305 enclosure is no less in its attention to detail to match this task, employing the same heavily treated construction and thick MDF baffle as our Cx tower loudspeaker. The Cx-305 tweeter is identical to that of the Cx-880 and 660 models for a perfectly seamless performance whether it be listening to multi-channel music or watching the latest sci-fi movie.
